SCOTT MARTINEZ
Partner

Scott is an entrepreneur stuck in an attorney's body.  Denver Mayor Michael B. Hancock appointed Scott to serve as Denver's City Attorney, the youngest ever to oversee Denver's one-hundred attorney litigation, municipal business, airport and criminal prosecution departments. As City Attorney, Scott received the Hispanic National Bar Association's national Latino Lawyer of the year award for his innovations in establishing Denver's first civil litigation Taxpayer Protection Unit and Denver's Social Impact Bonds.  He also founded the Government Entrepreneurial Leadership Accelerator to teach government leaders to think like an entrepreneur through an intensive 10-week boot camp.  Scott has also been a partner and attorney at two of Denver's largest law firms, focusing on strategic government relations and creative development advice.  Outside of work, Scott enjoys touring his family around in a classic Bronco and listening to live music.
